“ Dawson Creek has very little places to eat outside of the big chains so If you're not hitting Solar's Pub and Grill, you are seriously missing out. This place isn't just good; it's a five-star culinary surprise attack, and you need to get in there. First off, the establishment itself is comfortable and spacious. You're not crammed in like sardines, which is already a win. Now, let's cut to the chase and talk about the food, because that's where Solar's really shines. I don't care what you thought about ordering sushi at a pub and grill, because that mango sushi is pure, unadulterated deliciousness. Don't even question it, just order it. And then there's the Blackened Creole Chicken—holy hell, that dish is a flavor bomb. They're doing things with chicken here that should be illegal, it's that good. Yeah, the service was a little bit slow, I'll give you that, but they had the right intentions. You can tell they're working hard, and frankly, when the food punches you in the face with that much flavor, a little wait is easily forgiven. So, stop scrolling, start moving. Get to Solar's, demolish that mango sushi, and let that Creole chicken change your life. You won't regret it. ”

“ Battered shrimp taste like a came from no thrills across the street it was actually pretty horrible. enjoyed the onions under the battered shrimp more than I did the battered shrimp itself. I had the chicken Caesar wrap it was okay. But it needs little more flavor maybe something like ranch dressing.. it was missing something. The soup what's Pretty good overall chicken something special today. The gravy was running very little flavor to it. I had to add pepper just to make it reasonable And it was still running the gravy. How do I put this nicely or how to word this. I got there the waitress passed me the menu and asked me for my drink got me my drink brought it. back left again brought me a second drink. Shortly after I finally decided what I was going to eat and had to wait wait for 10 minutes for her to come back. She said she was very very sorry that she got distracted which does happen she apologized many times so things do happen. ”

“ It wasn't a busy night very nice. The music is a little loud. The food was very tasty. My steak was over cooked but I ate it anyway. It was smothered in mushrooms and perfectly seasoned. The taste was so good it seemed a shame to send it back. The vegetable kabab was perfectly seasoned and eldante in texture. My wife enjoyed the flavours of her meal too. The waitress a pleasant young lady who checked on us frequently and at appropriate timing. The ice tea was huge, we were offered refills but we didn't need them. The deserts were also very good. Bonus star earned for plastic staws. ”

“ I have been to this establishment for 2 weeks now. Food is decent and the staff are great. Hours are good. It would be nice to see food that is considered more basic and simplified for those who just like something simple and quick. I don't mind the food but it does seem a little bit different to my liking at times. Definitely not in a negative way. The cook/chef is good. May not get the steak to the correct degree required for perfection but its good. Staff are great. I would highly recommend the restaurant to those who enjoy a variety of different dishes and tastes. The waitresses work hard to correct situations that may not be 100% and are forthright and gracious to make things great. Thank you Chloe for everything you've done and hope all the best. I'm pleasantly surprised with the staff today and welcome anybody to try out Solo's and enjoy the upbeat atmosphere and good food. Thanks again Solo's. ”
